Sowing Time :
In Kharif season – up to 15th July, in Rabi season – from 15th October to 15th November, and in Summer season – from 15th January to 15th February
Seed Variety :
Saga Ambar (SMR 25/21), Saga Mak Tuber, and Saga Sweet Corn (Shubh Labh)
Sowing Spacing :
Row to row: 70 to 75 cm and plant to plant: 15 to 20 cm. (For maize cultivation, sowing on raised beds is beneficial.)
Seed Rate :
8 to 10 kg per acre
Fertilizer :
In maize crop apply DAP + UREA + ZINC + POTASH at 50 to 100 kg per acre in split doses according to crop condition
Weed Control :
Use Atrazine powder immediately after sowing and Top Botayone 15 days after sowing
Disease / Pest Control :
Seeds should be treated before sowing and insecticides as well as fungicides should be sprayed every 15 days
Crop Duration :
90 to 150 days (Harvesting duration may vary according to maize variety)
